Dawn Emerson's mission in life is to bring the joy of drawing into as many lives as possible by introducing new ways to think about layering color, making marks, and storytelling with the visual elements of design and composition. Dawn is the author of "Pastel Innovations" (2017) and the producer of 7 instructional videos for pastel and mixed media. She is a tireless explorer, always pushing boundaries of the beautiful and versatile pastel medium. Capture the beauty of winter scenes loaded with juicy colour and flooded with light. Join Tony as he shares some of his working methods to bring a looser and more painterly feel to your work. Tony will use his own reference to produce stunning winterscapes and snow scenes that will delight and excite the viewer.  We will give ourselves permission to capture the essence of the subject in an intuitive way with the freedom of brushwork that has its roots in the style of alla prima painting. All levels welcome.

Award winning painter, instructor and author, Tony has been painting for 50 years. A painter of colour and light with a complete understanding of his surroundings. Born in the Channel Islands where he studied life drawing from observation and painting from life. He has exhibited extensively over the years. His work can be found in private and corporate collections worldwide. His work is featured regularly in The Pastel Journal, Plein Air Magazine and other art instructional books. Membership includes, Pastel Society UK, Signature of The Pastel Society of America, Eminent Pastelist of the International Association of Pastel Societies, Master of the Pastel Artists of New Zealand & Royal Society of Marine Artists, UK.
