April Meeting
4/5/2017 - Judy Schroeder - Stained Watercolor Collage Demonstration
Nicasio School with Teasels
The painting, done in stained watercolor collage, begins with a pile of toned pieces of rice paper or washi. By affixing the bits to a heavy watercolor paper, the image begins to take shape. Then it is brought into focus with watercolor and gouache. See the earlier steps of this painting and watch how you progress from drawing to finished painting.
