Silk Painting Demo

This Wednesday, November 10th, Nancy Goldman will be demonstrating silk painting basics.

Silk painting is an exciting medium that uses a resist to control the movement of silk dyes.  The dyes become a permanent part of the fabric after they are steam set.  Many of the painting techniques are similar to those used with watercolor.  Some of Nancy's silk paintings can be seen at www.nancygoldmanart.com

October Meeting

Please join us for our October meeting on Wednesday, October 13th.  Our demonstrator will be our own Sharyn Sakimoto.  She will be teaching us how to use our digital cameras and how to take pictures of our artwork to enter into shows and competitions.
Please bring your camera and camera manual to get individual help.

Tustin Art Walk

On October 23rd, Tustin will be hosting their 3rd annual Art Walk.  There will be so many exciting things happening.  There will be artists displaying and selling their work and a plein air painting contest with $2,000.00 in prizes.
Also, there will be live music, wine tasting and much more.

Tustin Art League Member Show
